Maxlyn LaVie Ellison, MD

Dr. Ellison is the President and CEO of Ellison & Associates of Raleigh, PC.  Her goal is to provide high quality, personalized, and dignified behavioral health care in a comfortable and confidential environment. Ellison & Associates opened in 2005 and has allowed her a unique opportunity to blend her clinical and managerial skills.

Dr. Ellison provides psychiatric evaluations and treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and families.  Dr. Ellison graduated from East Carolina School of Medicine and completed her Residency in Psychiatry and a Fellowship in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.  She also earned a BA in Psychology at UNC-Chapel Hill and a BS in Biology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University. Dr. Ellison is Board Certified in Psychiatry as a Diplomate of the America Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Ellison’s treatment uses evidenced based medicine, compassionate listening, a solution-focused approach, and collaboration with other physical health and behavioral health providers to reach improved behavioral health for her patients.

Dr. Ellison is available  Monday- Thursdays from 9 AM- 5 PM (Last Appt. at 4:40 PM) and every other Friday 9AM- 1 PM

Treatment Philosophy:  Our goal for psychiatric treatment and therapy is to use evidenced based medicine, compassionate listening, a solution-focused approach, and collaboration with other physical health and behavioral health providers and education specialists to reach improved behavioral health for our patients.  We strive to provide the highest quality of healthcare in a comfortable and confidential environment.

The office closes for lunch daily from 12 NOON - 1 PM.

Ellison & Associates is not accepting new patients until January 2013.
